Recently a safety service director of a city announced 2 workers had been stuck with used needles carelessly left in the trash. As he mentioned adimantly that is a couple too many. These incidents cost the city well over $16,000 in medical testing and time off. As well as costing the employees the anxiety and wonder if they had contracted a disease from these used needles.
